Nadzirah Hashim Presents: Are You An Internet Freak?

Let's face it, the internet is something very important in the world right now. It allows people to communicate with others from the other end of the world, do business, satisfy their sexual needs, go shopping, see controversial videos and so on.

So here's 31 statements I compiled which if you answer yes to all, would definitely prove you are an Internet Freak.

Are you ready?

You are an Internet Freak when...

1) You've watched TV shows online
2) You have an internet journal
3) You know what LOL, LMFAO, WTF, BRB, L8R, ROTFL means
4) You wake up and the first thing you do is head for the net
5) You have a neopet
6) You spend more than an hour a day on YouTube
7) You're watching YouTube everyday
8) You can't wait to turn on your Metacafe
9) You have a high score on an online game
10)You have a friendster, myspace, hi5, tag, sms.ac, multiply and facebook account
11)You specifically stay in the office longer just so you can be online
12)When you're out, you'd rather go to starbucks or any place that offers free wifi than socialize
13)You have dreams that you went online
14)You religiously read some of your friend's or a perfect stranger's online journal
15)You can design a website
16)The first sexual experience you got with your lover was through the computer screen
17)You know which porn site is not a scam and which one is
18)You have an online business
19)You leave early from a party/club to go home and go online
20)Every time you talk somehow someway there will be some mention of the internet
21)You cry when the internet is down and refuse to eat for days as a protest
22)You leaped for joy when they invented a technology that would make wireless internet faster
23)You know what BitComet is and would prefer it to Limewire and Imesh
24)You know that Internet Explorer is full of shit and prefer other web browsers like Mozilla
25)You'd rather talk to your friends online than meet with them
26)You found the love of your life, online.
27)You memorize all the latest and most dangerous virus names out there
28)You buy EVERYTHING off the net.
29)You don't check your mailbox at home but you do check your email inbox
30)You google your name and find that you are listed
31)You have hacking skills

I could go on. But I think these 31 things should be enough to prove you are an internet freak.

So how did you score?

You said YES to:
  • 0 - you're not an internet freak at all. As far as you know, the internet could be a dishwashing brand of some sort. Maybe you should look into the internet seeing how you still live in the colloquial world.
  • 1-7 - well, it seems you know about the existence of the internet and some of its uses. But you're not such a savvy user due to the lack of exposure or perhaps, time, or social life. Don't fret, you will be wiser, become a jobless sod soon or perhaps lose your social life , young padewan.
  • 8-15 - you're quite the savvy internet user but realize that you need to balance your life with friends, family, boyfriend, job, etc. You probably use the net for certain things like downloading porn but have no idea which one might cause you pop ups. Nonetheless, you're more knowledgeable than the two categories before and not as extreme as the upcoming two. Well done!
  • 16-23 - almost there, freak! but not there yet. I don' t know whether to congratulate you for not being such an internet freak or insult you by saying, try harder loser!
  • 24-30 - congratulations! you're an Internet Freak! nuff said!

What did you guys score?

I scored 9! Woot!

Where Is My Hero?

I've been watching a lot of heroes lately.

If only all politicians looked as good as Nathan Petrelli from Heroes.

God he's so sexy. I can't help help but adore his suaveness. And that I-am-always-in-a-suit look. Wow.

But then again if only all artists look as sexy as Isaac Mendez as well. He seems to be one of those guys who can pull off the long hair look. If all the artists looked like him, damn the world would be a better place!

And if only there were guys as sweet as Hiro Nakamura and Peter Petrelli. I think all women would be happy.

If only.

Heroes is totally awesome. I'm as hooked as Isaac Mendez was when he was shooting up heroin (oh you know, when his eye balls get all white when he paints the future? incredibly awesome).

This Tv Show has definitely got me thinking about a lot of IFs.

If only I had my own hero. If only I could be a hero. If only.

Should You Save The World of Fast Food?

The Malaysian government has recently decided that they should ban all fast food advertisements because apparently they think there are just too many obese Malaysians out there.

Truthfully I don't think there are THAT many obese Malaysians out there. Clearly those who say that there are many obese people in Malaysia have not been out to other parts of the world like North America and Europe where the advertising campaign for fast food is even more hardcore and there are definitely more obese people than there are here.

After serious complaints of such an extreme statement such as banning fast food ads won't prevent obesity (which by the way is according to the Managing Director of Mcdonalds Malaysia), the government decided instead of banning the ads they would like to have the ads controlled by not showing the ads during the commercial slots of television shows for children below 12. This hasn't been implemented yet but I bet you Mcdonalds is working in every way possible to prevent this from happening.

But how can Mcdonalds stop the government from implementing this rule?

Well, this is where the Mcdonalds Game comes in place. I'm sure we could learn a thing or two from it. Teehee

Have you guys ever played the Mcdonalds game? I highly recommend it. It's actually a parody of the Mcdonalds organization. But it could be pretty darn close to what happens in reality BUT in a more subtle way that is.

I mean you've got the farm where you keep the cows, the slaughter house where you slaughter the cows and turn them into burgers, the Mcdonalds food outlet where you sell the burgers and finally the corporate office where all the advertising and bribery happens! Yay!

Here are some feature photos for those of you who have never heard of this game!

Front cover of the game

The song is quite enticing and be warned, it is an addictive game!

Quick Tutorial

Alright alright I bet you're pretty excited now because you know, its definitely something you could do if you're bored (and you probably are) so before I give you the link to the game we have to know the moral of the story which is what boys and girls?

It's going to take awhile before the government will implement this rule because:

a) There will be Mcdonalds and other fast food outlets who will be lobbying against this.
b) I'm almost certain there could be possible bribery towards a politician or health doctor which would slow down the process.
c) There will be a stir in the media by fast food joints to write articles that show fast food is suddenly good for us which will then confuse the general public including the politicians.
d) The government is slow, in general.

Yay!

So go visit this website to play the game and learn how to turn into a money hungry manipulative corporate chump! :)

What Women Want Is A Gay Guy

So as predicted, we women want a gay man to make us happy.

There is no hope left in this world.

Anyways, I'd like to express my condolences to my gluebud's grandad. May he rest in peace on this solemn Friday.

I don't feel like saying much today. Feeling a little down for my gluebud.

Like I always say though, people come and people go so learn to welcome and learn to let go.
